Cities of Refuge Ministries is a partnering organization which assists motivated homeless men and women in the greater Indianapolis community by helping them transition from a state of homelessness to a stable living arrangement. Ours is a relational model, extending the compassion of Jesus Christ as we spend time with each other as we work through emotional and spiritual struggles.

Volunteer

A relational model would simply involve talking and getting to know people; finding out their specific needs while walking along side them. All strangers are human, created in the image of God. The homeless can go days, weeks, months without the simple contact of others. We don’t need super heroes, only people who care enough to reach out to someone around them.
